Terms and Conditions

Reception hours:
8:00am to 7:30pm.

Check-in:
2:00pm to 7:30pm

Later check-ins are OK, but please let us know ahead of time if you are arriving after 7:30pm.

Early check-in when available will incur an additional cost.

Check-out:
8:00am to 10:00am

Late check-out will incur an additional cost.

Breakfast:
Healthy Continental breakfast served between 8.00am and 9.00am Monday to Friday and 8.00am and 9.30am Saturday and Sunday. Please advise of any special dietary requirements.

Children and Beds:

Children of any age are welcome at the Guest House, however we are limited with rooms that can accommodate children under the age of 12 years. Trundle beds are available on request. Cots are not provided. Please call to discuss your requirements. 02 4883 6372.

Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed.

Quiet hours:
Guests must be quiet between 10.00pm and 08:00am.

Pets:
Pets are not allowed.

Room Rates:
Prices subject to change & include GST.

Damage:
Any damages caused, wilfully or otherwise, by guests may incur a charge proportionate to the replacement or repair of the damage including lost revenue if a room or space is unable to be sold or used due to damage caused.

Visitors:
For the comfort of all guests, no visitors are permitted entry to The Bundanoon Guest House without consent.

Payment Policy:
Prices are subject to change & include GST.

A deposit of $100 per room is required to be paid at the time of booking for reservations made directly with the Guest House or via our web site – excluding reservations that include Mid Week Super Saver rates or made via third party booking sites.

Reservations with Mid Week Super Saver Rates require full payment at the time of booking.

A deposit equivalent to the first nights’ accommodation is required for all bookings made via third party booking sites, to be paid at the time of booking.

An additional deposit of $40 per person is required if you have a group dinner reservations of 10 or more people.

Balance payable on arrival.

Credit Card Surcharge:

  • Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS Debit – 1.5%
  • American Express – 2.5%

 

Group and Whole of House Reservations:

  • Group Reservations are defined as: Reservations for 3 or more guest rooms with other Guests present in the remaining guest rooms and common areas of the Guest House
  • Whole Of House Reservations are defined as: Reservations for all guest rooms in the entire Guest House, including or excluding the 2 Bedroom Cottage
  • Any Group Reservations and Whole Of House Reservations are to be made by one person for the required number of rooms. Multiple reservations by individual members of the group will not be accepted.
  • You may transfer the booking to a new date within 6 months of your original arrival date, provided this is advised at least 2 weeks prior to the original arrival date. The deposit paid can apply to this new date and this new date can only be transferred once.
  • Final invoice to include any additional charges incurred such as Bar charges.
  • Balance of payment due on departure or by other prior arrangement.
  • Any damage or excessive soiling will be at additional cost.
  • Prices include GST and are based upon an all-inclusive package and are subject to change if any package elements are omitted or varied.

 

Guest Behaviour:

Guests are expected to comply with all rules, regulations and instructions at the Guest House, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures and registration requirements.
The hotel shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the premises if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable.

Refunds:
Where applicable, refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment. Please note that credit card fees are non-refundable.

Governing Law:
If any dispute arises between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, neither TLP Guest House Pty Ltd, trading as The Bundanoon Guest House, nor any of its related bodies corporate, directors, employees or agents accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. Under circumstances where our liability cannot be excluded and where liability may be lawfully limited, such liability is limited to the remedies required of us under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law). This liability clause is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Acknowledgement:
You acknowledge that you are 18 years of age or older and that you understand and agree with the above Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Cancellation Policy: 

General Cancellation Policy

The following General Cancellation Policy applies to all reservations with the exception of Mid-Week Super Saver Rates, Group Reservations, Whole of House Reservations and Conference Reservations:

  • Guests may cancel free of charge until 7 days prior to arrival, and any deposits paid will be refunded.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of arrival and up to 2pm on the day prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit paid.
  • Full payment for rooms will be taken for cancellations received after 2pm on the day prior to arrival or if no cancellations are made and confirmed.

Mid-Week Super Saver Rates Cancellation Policy

  • Mid-Week Super Saver Rates are non-refundable rates

Group Reservations and Whole of House Reservations Cancellation Policy

  • Guests may cancel the entire reservation free of charge until 14 days prior to arrival, and any deposits paid will be refunded.
  • Cancellations of the entire reservation within 14 days of arrival and up to 2pm on the day prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit paid.
  • Full payment for rooms will be taken for cancellations of the entire reservation received after 2pm on the day prior to arrival or if no cancellations are made and confirmed
  • Any cancellation of individual package elements within 14 days of the check-in date or after check-in, will incur the original charge as quoted. This includes but is not limited to a reduction in the number of guests, reduction in the number of rooms and a reduction in the number of nights booked.

Cancellation By Us:

  • We may cancel the reservation if you have not paid us for the accommodation in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
  • We may in certain circumstances have to cancel the reservation and if this occurs, we will notify you in writing as soon as possible and confirm the cancellation. If you have paid any sums to us in advance of such cancellation, we will refund the full sum to you with the written notice of cancellation or you may elect to change your reservation to an alternative date, subject to availability, in which case we will send you an amended reservation confirmation specifying the new arrival date.
